ThanksUSA's mission is to mobilize Americans of all ages to "thank" the men and women of the United States armed forces by providing college, technical and vocational school scholarships for their children and spouses. ThanksUSA, short for "Treasure Hunt Aiding Needs of Kids and Spouses of those serving the United States of America," stages an annual national treasure hunt to raise funds for the military family scholarship program in an educational, family-friendly way. Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA)

Founded in June 2004, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is the nation's first and largest group dedicated to the Troops and Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the civilian supporters of those Troops and Veterans. A non-profit and nonpartisan organization, IAVA represents more than 80,000 veteran members and civilian supporters in all 50 states. DONATE NOW

OPERATION GRATITUDE

OPERATION GRATITUDE seeks to lift troops' morale, and bring a smile to their faces by sending care packages to service members overseas. The American Legion

The American Legion has been supporting military veterans and their families since 1919. Through the Heroes to Hometowns, Family Support Network and Temporary Financial Assistance programs, Legionnaires are there for today’s military men and women. An extensive network of service officers across the country provides free veterans benefit counseling and assistance in filing service-related disability claims with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. The USO is a nonprofit organization that provides morale, welfare and recreation services for America’s troops and their families.
